Despite the best efforts of our vets, sometimes we cannot tell you what’s wrong straight away. We may need to do additional tests to reach a diagnosis. Modern up to date facilities and equipment allow us to find out what is wrong with your pet as soon as possible.

Diagnose

The first step is diagnostics. We will use state-of-the-art technology to determine the source of your pet's health issue. We take patient care to a higher level by using the following tools:

Diagnostics suite with Ultrasound, Endoscopy and Xray
Cardiology including ECG, Blood pressure and Echocardiology
Laboratory: fully equipped to provide rapid in house blood and urine testing for diagnosis and monitoring
Ophthalmology (eyes), Dermatology (skin), Oncology (cancer)
External laboratory: we have a daily courier service so we can get samples to a local external laboratory quickly for more complex diagnostic tests.

Treat

Once we know what's wrong, we can quickly start the treatment, some pets will also need supportive treatments while we find out what is wrong. We have a fully stocked dispensary with all the medicines we need, surgical facilities and comfy hospital wards, should your pet need to stay where they will be cosy and safe. You can expect the following from us:

Fully equipped operating theatres for surgical cases, including routine neutering, soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics
Medical treatments including chemotherapy
Dental suite: we have up to date dental equipment, just like at your own dentist, which allows us to scale and polish and if necessary extract teeth.
Separate dog, cat and isolation wards to hospitalise day cases and in-patients, these areas are heated and have individual kennels with soft comfortable bedding.
Oxygen cage to assist treatment of respiratory and cardiac cases
Fully stocked dispensary with medicines of guaranteed quality
Referrals: if we are unable to provide the service or treatment needed for your pet, we have excellent relationships with local referral centres that can provide additional expertise.

Our branches are rigorously inspected by the RCVS to ensure these standards are met.
